Barry Smith
Regional Executive Chef
Sodexho, Spokane, Washington

Born and raised near Seattle, Washington, After graduating culinary school with food as his passion, Barry moved to Maui, Hawaii and served as Sous Chef for the Hyatt Regency Maui on Kaanapali Beach, home of the famed Swan Court restaurant featured on Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous. Using this valuable experience, he opened four new Hyatt hotels in California and Washington and was the featured chef in Sacramento Magazine in 1986.

Barry has been with Sodexho 18 years and is currently the Regional Executive Chef for the Western region of nine states including Montana.

This will be his 9th year as Executive Chef for the Festivals Saturday evening Dinner and the 4th year Barry will be on the auction block for the Heads or Tails private dinner for ten people.
